I am always shocked and humbled when a literary magazine chooses to publish something I’ve written. But it happened again, and I wanted to share it with you.
The beautiful online magazine, Literary Bohemian, recently published a short piece I wrote about the year I spent teaching in China with my husband. Escape on the Canal. It’s very short — shorter than these blog entries — and it resides in their Postcard Prose category.
Travel and literature. Literature and travel. I can’t think of a better combination. If you get a chance, check out some of the beautiful writing in this great journal.
Congratulations! Beautiful, as always!
I recently discovered your blog and I’ve enjoyed reading it, but I’m kind of geeking out for you about Literary Bohemian–I read that magazine! It’s great! Congratulations and thanks for being a smart, literary, Christian writer (there aren’t enough of those around).
This comment made me so happy. Thank you, Jessica.
